Twenty Two Carpentry was founded by Gregg Kimmel, a former student at Williamson College of the Trades. At Williamson, Gregg studied Carpentry and graduated with an Associates degree in Construction Management with a Carpentry emphasis. After graduation in 2021, Gregg started his journey picking up side jobs on his own for family and friends. In 2022, Gregg began working for a Home Remodeling Contractor as a Carpenter and Painter. In 2022, Gregg started up his own carpentry business, Twenty Two Carpentry.
